Sunnyvale Farmer’s Market

Are you interested in purchasing locally-grown organic produce for your table? The Sunnyvale Farmer’s Market takes place each Saturday from 9am-1pm year-round on Murphy Avenue. As a Certified Farmer’s Market, this weekly event provides residents with the opportunity to develop relationships with local farmers and producers while cultivating a healthier diet of seasonal favorites. There is often live music to enjoy as you peruse the stalls in search of the perfect produce to include in your next meal.

The Magic of Sunnyvale Wine Stroll

On May 10th, 2014, you can experience The Magic of Sunnyvale Wine Stroll, a free family-oriented outdoor event sponsored by Loft House Apartments. You’ll have the opportunity to sample local restaurants and wineries’ finest as children (both young and old) enjoy logic-defying performances by magicians that include Simon Yee, David Gerard, Will Chandler, and Kim Silverman. Many of these magicians will be roaming through the crowd on the street, ready to perform eye-opening tricks to delight attendees around every turn.

The Lace Museum

One of the Bay area’s most unique experiences is a trip to the Sunnyvale Lace Museum. This establishment was founded in 1976 with the intention of preserving the art of lace making. Today, visitors can learn about this unique craft as they explore the museum’s many exhibits and displays. The Lace Museum also hosts numerous monthly events and workshops as well as special events where attendees can learn how to identify and create lace masterpieces of their own. You can purchase your own lace-making supplies in the museum’s gift shop to continue this amazing tradition in the comfort of your own home.
